2025 WOMEN’S PENNANT COMPETITION

There will be 3 sections of Pennant with the first round commencing on Monday 24th February 2025 for section 3, with section 1 & 2 commencing Monday 3rd March 2025

This year, as there were only two clubs able to enter section 1 – which is scratch play – we are trialing a new format:  teams of 6 players will play alternating rounds of Foursomes, Fourball and Singles across 6 rounds.

  • Section 1 (scratch): 2 teams.
  • Section 2 (handicap): 6 teams.
  • Section 3 (handicap): 4 teams.

 

In HANDICAP MATCHES the maximum handicap will be 45 for this season.

The grand finals between the top two teams in sections 2 and 3, will be on Monday 28th April 2025 at a neutral venue.

In section 1 the last singles format round will be played in conjunction with the finals in section 2 and 3.
