SGGI Women’s Bowl 2024
Woorayl Golf Club, on Friday 15th November, hosted forty-two women from the district in the final South Gippsland event for 2024.
2023 Joyce Berry 4BBB Par Championship
Held Friday 27th October at Foster Golf Club, this event has been held annually for over 40 years. Joyce Berry, in whose honour the event is held, was a Captain and Champion at Wonthaggi Golf Club for many years, as well as holding long term positions as a South Gippsland delegate and Country Teams member.
2023 SGG Womens Foursomes Championships
Held friday 1st September, at Lang Lang Golf Club.
Thirty -two pairs played in perfect Spring weather. Most players would have been pleased with the extra run not experienced on many other district courses at the moment. That extra run was, however, a bit tricky around the greens.
2023 Mens and Mixed 4BBB Championships
Held Sunday 10th September 2023 at Foster.
36 players competed in soft conditions underfoot, with clear weather, the course and greens were well presented.
2023 SGG Men’s Singles & Junior Championships
Held on Sunday, 21st May at Lang Lang Golf Club.
2023 Champion: Michael Thomas (75) from Leongatha Golf Club.
Michael also won the South Gippsland Champion of Champions.
2023 SGG Womens Singles Championship
15th May, Korumburra Golf Club hosted the prestigious South Gippsland Golf Women’s Singles Championships in ideal weather conditions. Slick greens and heavier than usual conditions were challenging for some players.
2023 Women’s Bowl
There was a great gathering of clubs from around the district today (Friday 3rd March) at Welshpool Golf Club for the SGGI Bowl. The dry weather that is currently upon us contributed to the ‘run’ found around the fairways – the course was in great condition and certainly commanded respect particularly around the greens.
2023 SGGI Women’s Opening Day
A beautiful Summer’s day greeted the 80 player field for the women’s South Gippsland Golf Maree Anderson Opening Day 4BBB event held at Wonthaggi Golf Club on Friday 10th February 2023.
Country week teams 2022
Country week was played in Shepparton from 26th to 28th September.

South Gippsland 4 ball Championship results 2022
This event was held at Woorayl Golf Club on Sunday 16th October.
There were 13 Men’s pairs entered and 9 mixed pairs.
